How to Satisfy All Nutritional Needs and Your Belly :  

Building a Buddha bowl: include all or most of the following in each meal to feel satisfied and nourished 

1. Vegetables: eggplant, spaghetti squash, acorn squash, pumpkin etc.  2. Fruits: apple, berries, etc. 

3. Whole Grains: wheat, brown/black/wild rice, oats, quinoa, farro, barley, whole grain  pasta etc. 

4. Legumes (beans, peas, lentil): soybeans, kidney, white, black, pinto, etc.  5. Potato or Starchy Vegetable: sweet, Japanese, white, red potatoes, butternut, acorn or  spaghetti squash etc.  

6. Healthy Plant Fat: Nuts & Seeds: chia, flax, hemp, walnuts, cashews, almond, sunflower seeds, nut/seed butter etc. or Plant oils: Olive, avocado etc.
