Madison grew up apart of an extremely energized and adventurous family. Her parents bonded over competing in triathlons and adventure races across the United States. Madison, 7, and her two siblings, Logan, 5 and Nicole, 9 , would attend the races to compete in the proceeding youth races.

Madison’s parents, Mike and Denise, opened their first family-centered gym in the early 2000s. They eventually sold the gym and the family moved to the island of Nassau, Bahamas. Mike and Denise took the position of designing and managing a luxury fitness and wellness center in Nassau called Albany Bahamas Fitness & Wellness . Madison graduated from the International School of the Bahamas in 2012.

From 2012 to 2016, Madison played on nationally-ranked, Stetson University’s Beach Volleyball Team. In 2015 Madison studied abroad at Victory University’s School of Sport and Exercise Science in Melbourne, Austrailia. In 2017, Madison attended a Medical Internship at Szent Janos Hospital in Budapest, Hungry. “Lone travels are the ultimate teachers. I always return a more grateful, confident and aware individual,” said Madison. Madison earned her degree in Integrative Health Sciences from Stetson University in 2016.

Fascinated by the anatomy and physiology of the human body, Madison aspired to become a Physicians Assistant (PA). Graduating Stetson University with Summa Cum Laude Recognition, she was confident while applying to PA Schools. Madison volunteered alongside exceptional Medical Doctors (MDs) and PAs. She was discouraged to find that nutrition and exercise were rarely referenced. How were such critical components of health and healing ignored? One day an MD prescribed blood pressure medication to an adolescent who was newly diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. Madison knew diabetes was largely impacted by lifestyle decisions, such as nutrition and fitness, so why was this never mentioned?! In that moment Madison decided to shift her trajectory. She still aspired to become a health professional, but one that provided a holistic, comprehensive approach. As a Registered Dietitian she could not only help prevent disease, but guide individuals towards optimal living and functioning.

Madison went on to earn a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and become a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN,LDN). She became a certified Yoga and Meditation Instructor and Functional Fitness Coach. She teaches individuals and group about “Mindful Living,” through nourishment, movement and meditation. She believes we must nurture each area of health to feel harmonious and blissful each and every day!
