Supplements Scaries

Supplements can be helpful but are not essential in most cases.

In most cases, when providing the body with nourishing, wholesome, varied nutrition, the body can heal itself.

But in the case you find yourself needing to supplement your diet, make sure to follow the tips below!

1. Check ingredients : use products with 10 or less ingredients. Make sure you can recognize each ingredient. If you cannot, it may be a synthetic chemical which you should not consume.

2. Keep it simple : electrolytes , protein powder, greens powder in most cases are acceptable.. Try to avoid caffeine or pre-workout supplements, as well as bulking supplements. These can off set many systems within the body, leading to adverse side effects.

4. Food First: Remember you can get your protein and nutrition from good foods. Supplements may be used in addition to food but do not to replace food with supplements.

5. No regulation: FDA does not regulate supplements. Therefore, the contents listed on the bottle may not be accurate and it may include some harmful ingredients not listed. Make sure you are buying from reputable sources !
